Update! Outpost2 arrived and turned out to be broken. It has just (28th of August) been shipped to the manufacturer who has promised to deliver a working outpost ASAP.
Update! Repaired outpost arrived (6th of September) and shows supreme performance but is still subtly broken, manufacturer has rushed us new mainboard and power supply. This is their last chance. Will try tomorrow (10th of September) if the new hardware works.
Update! New hardware works. Outpost2 is being populated.
Tuesday morning, the 17th of July around half past eight in the morning, the power supply of outpost.ds9a.nl died, signalling the end of over 5 years of continuous service. In this time, she's visited Delft University of Technology, Casema Internet and finally the Trilab/PowerDNS colocation cabinets over at Level(3). Ahu and outpost went through a lot together, as the picture shows.
